To write in Chinese you need what is called an Input Method Editor (IME)
1) The IME can be found and clicked directly above the compose field of the home, email, forum, and resources pages

2) enter the pinyin of the character(s) you want to write
3) look for the character(s) corresponding to the pinyin
4) press the corresponding number on your keyboard. If the first character is the one you need, you can also press the “space” bar. If the list of characters exceeds 10, then use the page down or + key to view the next set of characters
5) the character you chose will appear in the compose field
Note:- you can switch between Chinese and English by using the Ctrl key on your keyboard
